New necklaces

I have written many times before about the creative challenges of the Europeanstreetteam of Etsy! The last months I didn't participate to most of them, but I try as much as I can, because it is a good motivation for creativity!
This week the challenge theme is "rainbow" and is hosted by Natalie, aka Dinafragola! You can visit her blog to see all the gorgeous submissions. I'm participating with this necklace:

I also joined an other challenge with monthly themes, the  "Being Creative" project of   Julia Crossland and made this necklace for the June theme "Ocean":

And since I started making necklaces, I was inspired to make some more:

Remember the European Street Team challenges? For those, who don't know it, for the last couple of years, every week (or every second week sometimes),the European Etsy Team has a challenge for the members to create something new, inspired by a special theme. One of my new year's resolutions was to participate every week in the challenge, but till now I only made it a few times! Last week I participated to the "Hills and Lakes" challenge hosted by Juanitatortilla with my mixed material necklace and won the challenge!!!! Thanks Juanita :))

So, this week I will be the hostess!
For this week let's all be inspired by the uplifting, energetic and exciting colours of the flowers, which are trendy this spring/summer:
Iris, Viola, Daffodil, Poppy! Beautiful and cheerful colours named by the flowers!

Get inspired by some gorgeous florals shown by the designers at Spring/Summer fashion shows:

New bag and spring bracelets

Finally I finished the brown bag and it's pattern! Good thing that the weather is still cold!

This week I had two days off from work, so I was creative! I made three new bracelets for spring:

The last one was made for the weekly challenge of the European Etsy team (est), which is hosted by  Dindi!
Now I'm working on new bag designs for spring/summer, I'll show you when they are finished :)

Morocco - the new challenge theme

Every week the European Etsy Team has a challenge for the members to make something with a special theme. Last week the winner was Gia, aka oneperfectday and she chose the next theme, which was "Pin-up girls". We had to make something inspired by Gil Elvgren pin-up girls.
See here the fantastic creations of the team. This was my winning entry:

Now it's my turn to choose a theme for this week :)
As it is still summer and hot here, and I'm counting the days for my summer holidays, I could only thing of exotic favorite places and I chose Morocco for the next them, as it is for me a dream destination, an unfulfilled one, since I went there many years ago with my family, but had to rash back home after two days, because my father got severely sick.

The introduction of the book "living in Morocco" by Taschen, describes it wonderfully: "Though it lies just across the Mediterranean from Europe, barely a stone's throw from Spain's southernmost tip, Morocco couldn't possibly be farther away. With mountainous and desert landscapes, labyrinthine souks, detectable cuisine, exquisite rugs and textiles, vibrant mosaics, fragrant odors, mesmerizing music, and welcoming people, Morocco is a most alluring and tantalizingly exotic destination"
I'm very excited to see your wonderful creations inspired by the colors, style and odors of this exotic place :)
