"Retro Revival Pleated Top" & "Southwest Dreamer Sweater", my contribution to Issue 8/2024 of ILikeKnitting magazine

The Issue 8/2024 of "ILikeKnitting" magazine is available and features my two new designs :)

Retro Revival Pleated Top

 

Inspired by 1940s style, the Retro Revival Pleated Top features short sleeves pleated at the top, deep hems and a crew-neck.  This top is crafted with columns of three-stitch cables and a two-color textured stitch pattern formed by stripes and slipped stitches. The hems and neck are worked in single ribbing with a contrasting color, adding a classic yet modern touch to this timeless piece.

Knitted with Scheepjes Metropolis yarn.

 Southwest Dreamer Sweater

The Southwest Dreamer Sweater features striking colorwork in geometric shapes and bright hues, evoking the vibrant spirit of the Southwest.
This stylish sweater is designed with full-length modified drop shoulder sleeves and a classic crew neck. The hems, cuffs and neck border are finished with double ribbing, adding a refined touch to the overall look.
